Absolute’s polished Stinger and Stinger Receptacles provide selective isolation points during completion and gravel packing operations.

Absolute`s Stingers are ground and polished to provide an effective sealing area and are designed to engage the receptacle even when the liner is being hydraulically set into position with the running tool.

Absolute’s stinger receptacles are available in a multi-stage polypack and loaded chevron stack configuration that provide an extended sealing area with back-up’s that reduce the risks of seal erosion and washout during prolonged periods of pumping.

Stingers are available with an entry guide profile for snap-in style or a mule shoe profile for thread-in style liner hanger running tools. .

Gap-based screens (such as slotted liner or wire-wrap) are sensitive to particle size and plug easily because they provide one 2-D filtration.
